Favorite Match

When I won MatJam last year. I wrestled Beckett Johansen for the championship. The first period was pretty close and not a lot of scoring. Going into the second I scored a quick takedown and caught him with a wing. From there I secured the pin and my first MatJam title. I wrestled some tough matches that whole day and it was a lot of fun.

Who Has Helped The Most

My mom & dad

How Did They Help

My dad has always been there for me. When wrestling got really hard and I would get down on myself and tell him I don’t think I can do this or after a tough loss thinking I want to quit. My dad wouldn’t let me think that way. He has helped me build the mindset I have today and always encouraged me to push myself harder. My mom has been my biggest supporter since the beginning. Countless hours driving me to practice, tournaments and camps. My parents make sure I have every opportunity they can afford me and it has shaped me into the wrestler I am now.

Other Sports You Play

Cross Country, I also play tournament paintball in the summers.

Special Talents

My special talent is not getting pinned. 🤣 (Well… most of the time)

Something That May Surprise People

II coach a small group of young wrestlers in Geneva called Shed Wrestling. Also I do individual private lessons with young wrestlers. I hope to make the Fillmore Central program stronger all around. Making some money for it is nice too.

Advice To Someone Who Wants To Improve In Wrestling

Just starting out don’t expect to win all the time. Put in the work at practice and trust your coaches. Do extra when no one is looking and hold yourself to a high standard. Never settle for just enough, then you’ll start seeing the results you want.

Zechariah... man. 122 wins??!! It's pretty simple. You are Roxa Rated !! Keep up the great work!
