I started wrestling at age 4 and will wrestle my hundredth match at AAU Nationals on January 5, 2025. I get nervous and scared before all my matches and learned that this is normal. I use these emotions to fight hard.

To never quit. Wrestling is a very difficult sport and it’s really hard mentally and physically I wanted to quit so many times, but I didn’t and I’ve come very far from my first year.

#1 rated Kymani Peak of Ready RP Nationals pinned his way to the title in a bracket that held 4 of the top 5 rated wrestlers in the division. #3 Max Gill of Fairbury continued his torrid pace this season. He got beat by Peak in the semis, but battled back to knock off #2 Xavier Engel of the Hawks Wrestling Club in the true second match.
