Roxa Rated Wrestlers of the Week

There were plenty of great tournaments available throughout the state this weekend.  Our selections this week came from the Pierce, Valentine, North Bend, Adams Central, and the Hawks tournaments. There were so many tough brackets throughout the state.  Here is who we landed on for this week’s Roxa Rated Wrestlers of the Week.

Tianna Charleston (Roxa Rated #6)
Stanton Broncos | 6th Grade | 138 lbs
Tianna recorded four pins on her way to a title at the Pierce Warbirds Girls Tournament. She defeated the #2, #3, and #9 wrestlers at 138 lbs along with the #1 wrestler at 126 lbs in the 5th–6th division.

Dakota Vellek (Roxa Rated #16)
Niobrara/Verdigre | 6th Grade | 85 lbs
Dakota entered the Pierce Boys Tournament ranked #16 at 85 lbs and won a bracket that included the #11 wrestler at 85 lbs, the #14 wrestler at 75 lbs, and the #5 wrestler at 75 lbs in the 3rd–4th division.

Breckin Hoefer (Roxa Rated #6)
Neligh-Oakdale | 6th Grade | 112 lbs
Breckin claimed first place at the Valentine Cowboy Clash in a bracket that featured the #7 and #9 wrestlers at 112 lbs and the #8 wrestler at 105 lbs.

Zaydon Wiese (Roxa Rated #2)
Elevate Wrestling Academy | 7th Grade | 75 lbs
Zaydon entered the Adams Central tournament ranked #2 at 75 lbs and won a bracket that included the #13 and #16 wrestlers at 80 lbs as well as the #16 wrestler at 80lbs in 5th-6th grade.

Konner Bohaboj (Roxa Rated #13)
Howells-Dodge | 3rd Grade | 70 lbs
Konner came into North Bend ranked #13 at 70 lbs and won a bracket that included the #7, #12, and #14 wrestlers at 65 lbs.

Karter Thompson (Roxa Rated #4)
Norfolk Wrestling | 3rd Grade | 95 lbs
Karter entered North Bend ranked #4 at 95 lbs and won a bracket that featured the #2, #10, and #17 wrestlers at 95 lbs in the 3rd–4th division.

Zeke Gray (Roxa Rated #1)
Millard South | 2nd Grade | 53 lbs
Zeke won his bracket at the Hawks tournament in a field that included the #1, #3, and #11 wrestlers at 56 lbs, along with the #13 wrestler at 59 lbs and the #16 wrestler at 53 lbs.

Kessiah Liechti (Roxa Rated #1)
Nebraska Boyz | 5th Grade | 75 lbs
Kessiah entered ranked #1 at 75 lbs and won a bracket that included the #3, #4, #11, #15, and #17 wrestlers at 75 lbs.

Samuel Brown (Roxa Rated #4)
Cozad | 8th Grade | 140 lbs
Samuel won his bracket at the Hawks tournament after entering ranked #4 at 140 lbs. The bracket included the #2, #11, and #12 wrestlers at 140 lbs in the 7th–8th division.

Reece Becker (Roxa Rated #2)
Nebraska Wrestling Academy | 4th Grade | 65 lbs
Reece won her bracket at the Hawks tournament in a field that included the #1, #9, and #12 wrestlers at 65 lbs along with the #7 wrestler at 73 lbs.

Lorelai Fangmeier (Roxa Rated #1)
Blair | 4th Grade | 95 lbs
Lorelai secured her bracket title in a field that featured the #3 and #4 wrestlers at 95 lbs and the #3 wrestler at 89 lbs.

Wendie Ramirez (Roxa Rated #4)
Big Dog Grappling Academy | 6th Grade | 95 lbs
Wendie won her bracket at the Hawks tournament in a field that included the #5 and #11 wrestlers at 95 lbs and the #5 wrestler at 89 lbs.

BryLee Irsik (Roxa Rated #1)
Nebraska Wrestling Academy | 7th Grade | 113 lbs
BryLee won her bracket at the Hawks tournament in a division that included the #6 and #7 wrestlers at 113 lbs and the #1 wrestler at 101 lbs.

Kye Johansen (Roxa Rated #1)
St. Paul | 4th Grade | 75 lbs
Kye entered ranked #1 at 75 lbs and won a bracket that included the #3, #12, #14, and #20 wrestlers at 75 lbs.
