Accomplishments
My biggest accomplishments are that I try hard to do my best and I work hard at practice. I have been in the State tournament twice and placed 5th my first year and 3rd my second year. I try to make friends at different tournaments and cheer them on when I’m not wrestling.
Favorite Match
I wrestled at the Aquinas tournament in David City last year. I was able to wrestle in the Tournament of Champions against a kid that was a weight class heavier. I was down 1 point with 15 seconds left and was able to win the match with a take down. It was my first time that I won the Champion of Champions match.

How Did They Help
Cade has taught me to be confident and wrestle hard. No matter whether you win or lose, you go out there and try your hardest.

Something That May Surprise People
I started wrestling at age 4 and will wrestle my hundredth match at AAU Nationals on January 5, 2025. I get nervous and scared before all my matches and learned that this is normal. I use these emotions to fight hard.
Advice To Someone Who Wants To Improve In Wrestling
I would tell them to work hard at practice, listen to their coaches, and to do the moves slow until you understand them so you can get faster later. My Dad says, “you either win or learn, the best matches are when you do both.”
My awesome grandson is a true competitor!
