Favorite Match
When I had to wrestle my first year I wrestled boys. But when I beat the first boy, I wrestled he got mad and started to cry and walked off the mat without shaking hands. His parents grabbed him, and they left the meet without finishing his matches.

How Did They Help
Obie has brought back my love for wrestling when I lost interest in the sport, so I continued my career. Jon has pushed me since day one and has been there for me through all my matches. He has helped me become a better wrestler physically and mentally.

Something That May Surprise People
I used to play basketball, until I found wrestling. My coaches won’t let me tie my wrestling shoes because I always put knots in them that nobody can get out!
Advice To Someone Who Wants To Improve In Wrestling
Never give up even if you’re losing love for it. Go to practice every day and give your best effort. Even if you get beat by the same person go out and try your best every time you go against them. Find your grit and go kick butt on the wrestling mat. You will meet great friends off the mat but always remember when you are on the mat, they are not your friends!
